Looks Great! Far From Functional
A perfect idea for someone to come up would be a couch cover that "actually stays in place". The minute we placed it on our couch and sat down, it fell off the back of the couch. There is no backing material that helps it keep in place or resist slipping.
Like I said, looks great and the terrific idea, but does not function "at all"!

saved my sofa
I have been using my sofa protector for over a year. To keep it in place, I tuck the seat part in at the back and arms of the sofa. My sofa is against the wall and there is an end table by each arm, so that helps to keep the top and arms in place. My elderly cat had a messy "potty" accident on it. Nothing got through to the sofa, and the protector cleaned up nicely with a product for cleaning up pet messes. It saved my sofa!

Would not recommend
This cover looks wonderful on the couch. But it's akin to putting a giant banana peel over the couch. Looks fine until someone sits on it or the dog or cat jumps up. My 9 pound kitty causes it to slide everywhere just by hopping on the seat and back of the couch. So it's great if it is not used - but then - why do you need a couch cover?

Functional with one issue...
This item is perfect for covering the couches during the day when we aren't home. They go on really easily with no weird folding (some easy tucking) needed. Only issue is the back of the slip cover has a slippery material that makes the cover move around on the couch or chair very easily, so if the pets are rambunctious, it will move or fall off easily. Still, for the price and how easy it is to put on/take off it is a better option then any of the couch covers on the market and looks a lot nicer then a sheet :-)
