Capresso® Infinity Conical Burr Coffee Grinder
My son is a Barista at a nice coffee shop, and he is always saying "If you had a good grinder then your coffee would taste better". He has done the research and Capresso Infinity is the best for the price. Very happy with it

Excellent with two minor issues
PROS: The grinder works wonderful and the price can't be beat.
CONS: The grinding chamber leaves a great deal of ground beans left (maybe about a tsp). I wouldn't leave them as you would be mixing old grounds with fresh. You need to be willing to remove the bean chamber, upper burr and use a brush to sweep the grounds into the cup. It probably takes me 3-5 minutes. It is not difficult though. The unit instructions say to clean with each use. We use a small pastry brush in addition to the tiny supplied plastic one.
You need to be very careful to properly align the bean chamber when installing and removing and use a gentle touch. If you are the type of person that never reads directions and forces things you could easily break it. We misaligned it once and called customer service to help us. If your machine needs a repair and is in warranty they told me on the phone it is a 7-10 day turn around and they pay postage.

Worst Grinder Ever
The product is engineered wrong. Sprays coffee outside of the container every time it grinds.
I returned the product.

Quiet, no static build up
I purchased this to replace my DeLonghi burr grinder that became erratic. Unlike the DeLonghi, I found this unit to be much quieter. I cannot address the fineness of the grind for specialty brewed coffee styles as some have commented . I have not used it for those purposes. However, use with my electric drip grinder, fantastic. I really love the fact that it does not have any static build up in the ground coffee container. It is very easy to clean. I love the detachable burr. [Something the DeLonghi did not have. I would definitely recommend this unit as a very reasonably priced product with excellent results. Above all else. AVOID Cuisinart grinders. As others have said, they are woefully prone to breakdown. The DeLonghi [which replaced my Cuisinart] was fine. It worked much longer, but the static build up, noise, lack of detachable burr, and greater difficulty in cleaning make it much less desirable than this one.

After many years our last grinder finally died. After looking at a lot of favorable (and unfavorable) reviews, we purchased this one and it is quieter and cleaner to use than our old one. We highly recommend this grinder

The most expensive grinder I've purchased to date, and also the best. No static build up when grinding, and grinds coffee very uniformly according to settings. Easy to take apart and clean. This product hasn't clogged on me yet like my old one. The grinds drop from above, which is the best design for no clogging and keeping the counter clean! I highly recommend this product to anyone that is tired of the static mess with coffee all over the counter and to the person that drinks coffee everyday that is very specific about how the coffee is ground. This grinder is slightly quieter than my old one... The gear reduction system I think helps a little. I mean it's a coffee grinder, I don't expect silence. Overall the best product I've purchased in a long time.

I have used this coffee grinder for a few years. Does a great job on all settings for today's modern coffee making equipment whether it's for a latte or an automatic coffee maker. Cleans up and goes back together very nicely when a routine cleaning is necessary. The burr is the secret. Invest in a steel burr!

Disappointed in PA
The coarsest setting is only about a medium grind. I wanted larger grind for percolator and French press coffee options.
