The bold, easy to read LCD screen displays the current temperatures ((DEG)C/(DEG)F) inside your fridge and freezer, and the maximum/minimum temperatures recorded for each. Programmable alarm notifies you audibly and visually when temperatures exceed your pre-set temperature range. Measures temperatures from -40° to 158° F, -40° to 70° C. Display features a magnetic backing to stick on the fridge or stands upright for countertop use. The two remote sensors feature powerful wireless technology, wireless signal indicator light, and versatile mounting options including an integrated suction cup or spring-loaded clip. Specifications inaccurate in manual
Does not specify read time.. I timed it at one reading every 2 minutes. The manual says "Temperature measurement range "; -40f to 158f, now it says for the sensors.. that's great, but the main unit only reads up to 104f then reads -H- for anything there after which is misleading. This document needs to explain that the main unit can only read up to 104f.. What's the use of having sensors read that high if the main unit cannot read it.. I needed this thing to accurately read up to 120f and much faster than every 2 minutes. Please read descriptions carefully, cause mfg's find a sneaky way of misleading the public of the actual limits of its products.

Works but range is not as advertised
I had intended to use these to monitor a hot water application (wood boiler) and if had actually displayed the temp up to 160 degrees great but alas it did not, after the temp went above 120 degree it onlys Hi Temp, so now I will just use it for it's intended purpose in a freezer.
