Fairmont Espresso Wall Cabinet
Impossible to Hang
This cabinet was relatively easy to put together and looked nice once finished. However I spent hours trying to mount this to the wall. Apparently whoever wrote the instructions never actually tried mounting it.
The mounting is at least a two person job, with one person holding the heavy shelf while the other attaches the mounting screws. However, the design is very poor for mounting - you have a 6" space between the back of the shelf and the lip of the front to work with, and 2" screws. This means you can't get a Power Drill or a regular screwdriver in the space. After trying several short screwdrivers, I found I could not get enough torque to force the screws into the screw mounts already in the wall.
After a few hours of this, I took apart the shelf, pulling off the top which frees up the front lip. Then I went to hang it, able to get a power drill at the screws. But again, the 2" screws would not go into the screw mounts. They went in about 1/8" but no more. This appeared to hold the shelf, but did not look sturdy. At this point I bought some beefy nails and pounded them in, which did go into the screw mounts nicely, then re-assembling the front lip and the top shelf.
Save yourself hours of headache and buy a different shelf. This one does look nice but it is incredibly frustrating.

Worst designed back and mounting
I was pleasantly surprised with the product the entire way up until trying to mount it. Well packaged, good looking, doors were not flush but only a small parallel gap. When screwing the back panels in I thought it was interesting that the product has rounded screws to hold the back panels in place. Later I realized this was to gouge the fresh new paint job off my walls as I tried to mount the unit. I have gouges in about 16 spots from the roughly 16 screws in back. Also, it is impossible to screw in the mounting screws in the 6" space between the hole and the front of the cabinet, especially considering the screw is 2" already. Horribly designed. HORRIBLY DESIGNED. I'm currently headed to home depot for filler and paint to repair the damage the unit did, and the unit is sitting on my bathroom floor waiting to be smashed into kindling.

DO NOT BUY (unless you want frustration)
This is a very poorly designed cabinet that is horrendous to mount.
I should start by saying that I've put several wall cabinets together both in my home and in my parents' house.
Most cabinets attach the backing with nails, but this one uses screws with rounded tops, which do a good job of digging into your wall. If you have to adjust the cabinet while you're mounting it, prepare to have some nice scratches on your wall.
The anchors they provide are 1" long and flat. You have to hammer a 1" slit into the wall, which could create damage if misaligned or over the weight capacity.
Well designed cabinets are mounted using a french cleat for ease of level mounting. On this cabinet, the mounting holes are inside the cabinet at the VERY top. You have to screw it in at an angle unless you have a perfectly sized screwdriver. Trying to screw it into the stud with force while holding the heavy cabinet up to the wall was very challenging. So much so that I sent it back to the store.
Don't buy this piece of garbage.

Well Worth It!
I had this delivered to the beach, and it arrived the day after I did. It was a cloudy day, so I decided to try assembly myself. It was VERY easy! Pieces are well marked, and instructions were so simple that after a relatively short time, I had a beautiful bathroom cabinet in front of me. It will look terrific in my new bathroom!

Looks great, is very much as described. Comparable products at lower prices look very cheap when you see them in the stores. The packaging was the best I've seen of an assemble yourself product. Each type of hardware in its own package and labeled by the same number as used in the directions. Assembled very easily probably took less than an hour and I go very slow because I'm not very mechanically inclined. Hanging it on the wall was a little challenging but I knew it would be because of the small space I was putting it in. You need a helper to hang it. Very satisfied and I definitely recommend.

What a find!
After shopping around at some other big box stores and home improvement stores, we found this (in white) at our local Bed Bath & Beyond.
It was slightly more expensive than other options we found, but once we got it home and assembled it, we realized that the extra cost was readily apparent in the build quality and clear, concise directions. It was very easy to put together and none of the cabinet pieces or hardware were damaged or missing.
We highly recommend this make and model cabinet
