It Has a Clear Top! Let There Be Light!
I bought this because of its clear top, not the pockets. The clear top allows light from the window in my bath/shower to provide light in the bathroom during the day. When it's dark out, the clear top allows you to see better when showering. The size of the clear top is just right, providing modesty for an average height person if someone else needs to come into the bathroom. Also I can have the curtain drawn to make the bathroom look tidier and still get the benefit of natural light.
I decided not to use the pockets because you can sort of see stuff from the other side so you lose the nice crisp clean appearance of a closed shower curtain. Plus I figure using the pockets will cause the curtain to fail sooner. Storage just wasn't an issue for me. I have two shower caddies installed at the far end of the bath/shower.
I did not like the look of the towel loops along the clear portion so I just cut them off. This curtain seems to be a little wider than my old curtain, which is nice. There are no gaps at the sides when in use. It had NO smell.
I think I looked at every clear top shower curtain in existence and I think this is the best one. I would have rather had a print lower section, like my old one, but really the white makes my small bathroom seem bigger and brighter. The holes for the rings are reinforced with metal.

Great Family Bath Solution
Great product have bought several. Pockets will tear loose at the edges. Kind of difficult to keep clean on the inside of the shower. But all in all I keep replacing mine due to the awsome storage, and saftey benefits keeping razors/shampoo out of reach of kids an convient reach of adults. Expect to replace as you would regular liners.
