good price
Great quality for the price. it was a very good buy for me. I have purchased salt rock lights from several other locations, and this the best buy ever. I only wish that someday it would be made available in the stores. I'm sure they would sell quite easily.

good night light
I've always wanted a salt light because of the release of ions that are supposed to have a positive affect on a persons physiology - but haven't noticed any benefits of that nature. It is a lot heavier that I anticipated - and apparently you need to insure the lamp is placed on a coaster or some type of protection for your table as it is said to "weep." I haven't noticed mine weeping, but I have the adjustable rheostat set low so that it can be used as a night light and kept on at all times. Yes, you can turn the light up brighter, but, because the light is entirely enclosed by the salt, I don't think it would be good for anything other than mood lighting.
