Dyson DC4l animal complete vacuum
I have been a hoover person for many years. I decided to try a new vacuum, not because I didn't like my hoover anymore, I just wanted a change. I decided on this model and I have not regretted it . It is an awesome cleaner, I've had no problems. It is so easy to handle. I can go from carpet to floor and it picks everything up. The suction is unbelievable. I don't know why some people are having trouble with it. I bought this one because it was bigger than the other models and it had the furniture brush with the rollers.That is well worth getting. We have a dog, but he doesn't shed. This is the model to get if you do have a dog that sheds. I know my vacuum cleaners and this one out does my hoover.

great at first
So this is out second dyson in two years. Yes you read that right. The first one we purchased was the model right before this one and it lasted all of 8 months. the second we purchased in july of 2012 and are taking it back on jan 1. 2013 as it copletely lost suction and it smells!!! We've cleaned it several times as directed, and nothing. We don't have carpeting...but we have two area rugs that are thick as well we have 4 messy children. To use the hose is a pain in one place....but the use of the vacuum is great.....just too bad they stop working after 6-8 months. I will be returning it and trying the newest shark.

I love this vacuum!!
This vacuum is absolutely amazing! I have a white short haired dog and his fur get everywhere! This vacuum picks up the hair so well, that I am no longer afraid to wear black pants around my house. This vacuum is so easy to use and push. It was worth every penny!! This is the best purchase we made all year!

Excellent suction
I had the Dyson DC40 MultiFloor vacuum for about 6 months and was less than impressed with its suction power. Bed Bath and Beyond has excellent customer satisfaction service and allowed me to exchange the old vacuum for this DC41 Animal Complete.
I haven't had this vacuum for too long, but so far I love it! It easily picks up my yellow lab's dog fur. My carpets appear cleaner than they have in a long time. The vacuum is quiet, very easy to maneuver, and transitions well from carpet to wood floors. Although the wand is still a bit awkward to handle, it was able to reach the top of my stairs (bonus!).
And thanks to a Black Friday sale, I got this vacuum for a much more reasonable price!
