Best we could find
It's not easy finding a basic waffle maker ... this is the third one we tried and finally decided to keep it. You can choose the color (amount of "doneness") as well as the consistency of the waffle (soft in the middle and crisp on the outside or the same all the way through). The size of the pancakes are a little small, but we just make more with a batch of batter. Easy to clean and store.

Huge Disappointment
Purchased this because of the adjustment options for cooking the waffles. The first batch of waffles, no matter how I changed the settings, was awful. I'd used a recipe from the booklet that came with the machine and thought perhaps the recipe was the reason the waffles were inferior. To elimiate that variable, I then used a tried and true mix. The waffles weren't any better. I am a very good cook and both my husband and I were stunned at how inedible these waffles were. The product description also mentioned the feature that it could be stored in an upright position which was nice. The cord storage, another feature, was appealing, but poorly designed. I could never recommend this product!
