Works!
I bought this for my son who drinks lots of teas. He's had it for 3 months now. He says he loves it. He would definitely let me know if he wanted a better one, trust me. It works, no complaints from the picky boy.

Chef's Choice kettle
I bought this electric kettle (with a cord) about 6 months ago. The button for the lid occasionally stuck but I could usually pry it out with a knife. Now it's permanently stuck so lid stays open - the kettle stopped shutting off automatically at the same time. I don't have a receipt for it anymore so there's not much to be done. I think this was a shoddy product - hope BB&B stops selling it.
I have another brand now.

Best kettle at this price.
I have only had this kettle a couple of months, but am so impressed with the simplicity and sturdiness of it. I was reluctant to buy this one at first because I was unfamiliar with this brand, but am now glad I did. First, It holds plenty of water. Second, no plastic comes in contact with the boiling water, which is very good. The measuring window is plastic but, a metal tube pipes water into it so you can read how much you need very accurately. Overall, this product is outstanding if you want the most for your money.

Bad right out of box
I was looking for a Braun electric kettle, which is the best on the market, in my opinion. But they don't seem to be making it for the US market any longer. So we chose this one, got it home and it was damaged right out of the box. Back it went and I will look for a replacement kettle for my Braun.
