At first I was amazed!
I bought this a month ago and already it has stopped working. The brush roll wont rotate. I checked the belt and its fine because when i turn the vacuum over it works just fine but as soon as I put it on the floor its stops working. The suction is awesome and powerful cleans well but this is frustrating and i wouldn't recommend it. I've looked up ways to fix it and haven't found a way.

Excellent suction, TERRIBLE design!
I would love to give this great reviews because the suction on this is AMAZING. I vaccuum 2x a week and fill up the canister with dirt and pet fur everytime. It's the best suction I have ever had on a vaccuum. However, the design of this unit is TERRIBLE! Within my third or fourth time using it, the hose attachment came off. I can twist it back on, but then it pops off everytime I use the hose. Sorry Hoover, but this is getting returned. I would recommend it to someone only if they are not using the hoses.

Issue with the hose
My fiance and I got this as a bridal shower gift, but like a few others on here the hose came apart on the very first usage. I love the suction, the weight, and the bagless feature, however those do me no good if the hose that lets it work comes apart. I am attaching some pictures to show what is going on. I was able to screw the piece back together, but I really don't want to have to mess with that every time I use my vacuum. From reading some of the other reviews, this seems to be about the only thing that goes wrong with this vacuum (aside from people not cleaning them out ever), I agree with another reviewer, just use some better glue when you screw this piece together. If this becomes a non-issue then my rating for this product goes up significantly.

TERRIBLE!!!!
I have ALWAYS used Hoovers - boy was this a disaster - I do normal (weekly) vacuuming and this is a mess. I go to use it just now and guess what, like others, the hose on the right has been burned off. STAY CLEAR! Now, I am out of a vacuum that I paid good money for! Either they replace it or they will lose a customer for life!
