The Sharper Image® Digital Super Wave Oven
Analog Super Wave Oven
Purchased the analog version and it's works like a dream!..
The model however has build quality issues. The fan is not balanced and has a little run-out. And that causes vibration and vibration is a killer.
When it finally shakes itself apart, will get another one.

dont buy this
I am sorry but the racks do not stay put always tilting over- food spills into the bottom of the bowl and the space between the wires of the rack are spaced to far apart, the fan does not shut off when time is done, so one must be right in the area to hear the ding at the end of the cooking time, or else your food will continue to dry out due to the fan still running!
I went back to the Nuwave pro unit. Much nicer and cooks better.

having had 2 NU Wave ovens and both analog and digital Sharper Image Super Wave the differences are remarkable..... The Super Wave's glass and its digital Key pad is immeasurably superior to a much higher degree than giving it a number.
the technology in both are identical yet the results are markedly different..... in a scale of 1 to 10 with10 being best, I would put Super Wave at 10 and Nu Wave at 5.... but most of all, at the risk of sounding patronizing to BBB, the service level is impeccable and is the only reason I bought this type of product because the experience of horror dealing directly with New Wave is not acceptable. BBB definitely makes a difference, so much so that I am always willing to pay BBB for its excellent services at all levels from the staff support to management.... I'm not a person that is pleased to do shopping... I hate it; However, where the manufacturer's invariably fail....From my experience, BBB makes up the difference in large measures....... It's puzzling to me to read some of the complaints about the product failures, etc. and complaints about waiting while BBB does an excellent job of replacement.... amazing how ill-informed and ill experienced some of your customers must be to make such complaints without realizing the consequences of dealing directly with companies in today's world of buying in China and other opportunitistic international suppliers simply to cut American costs..... oh well... I will support BBB anytime.
The only problem with BBB is the stupidity of the type of shopping carts used to maneuver around the highly restrictive point-of-purchase sales displays, aisles etc.... it is an insult to anyone's intelligence even average pedestrian buyers. In my case as a professional architect I have suggestions but there is no one at BBB to talk to and advise as to how to correct the carts. I completely understand space planning and the issues of optimizing square footage in relation to the amount of costs to selling price outcomes. But what is being practice now is idiotic.

Quality control problems
I like the unit. It does a good job on chicken, game hen, hamburgers, sweet potatoes, steaks. But the first unit I had stopped working in about a week. BB&B exchanged it, but I had no oven while I waited for delivery--it's only available online. The second unit's fan began screetching almost immediately. I exchanged that one and waited for its replacement. The fan on the third unit is becoming noisy. I'll live with it if it gets no worse. If it does, I'll return it. I see comments elsewhere noting fan problems.

Life: Two Weeks
This looks a bit different (the chrome band around the top) than the one I got from BBB about a month ago, but the price is the same, and I'm confident the units are. BBB doesn't stock these in stores--you may have noticed the appliances section is smaller--so I ordered it online. It cooked very well. For two weeks, when the fan started screaming. I returned it to a BBB store and they ordered a replacement online. I did without an oven for days awaiting it. It, too, cooked well. And in about 10 days, it stopped working. Not the fan this time, it won't even turn on. I'm bringing it back to BBB and will wait without an oven until the third one arrives. BBB's return policy is exemplary, but I still have to get the heavy unit to the store--again.
