very quiet!
I was looking for a humidifier for my new house and wanted a cool mist, easy to care for and stylish model. I researched many stores and many models, and although this kind had a few bad reviews, thought this would be the best choice over all...So far I am amazed how quiet it is! I had to keep checking to see if it was really on! You can regulate how strong it comes out, and easy to care for. No wetness on any of the surrounding area, or dust. The real test will be to see if it holds up for a few years, as it is a little pricey. Definately recommend. I would say not great around children, seems like it might come apart easy.
