ZeroWater® 28-Ounce Travel Filter Bottle
I've only had this product for a week now. I like the handle for easier carrying. It does get sorta heavy when full.....for a travel water bottle. Other than that, I'm enjoying my filtered watered where ever I go.

Awesome travel water filter
This water filter is the best! It's easy to use and takes all the junk out of the water. We used it on a cruise and the water on the ship is highly chlorinated. This filter takes it all out and the water tastes great, and its so easy to use. Our 1 year old loves to drink out of it as well. We use it at home as it is so convenient to use and take around the house. It has the best filter of any gravity fed filter system bar none .

Product works great but...
Inside where the filter screws onto the inner part of the cup is poorly designed. When you tighten it binds the inside against case and twists the straw mechanism. Also if you knock the unit over or drop it, the inside comes loose from the plastic threads combining the non filtered water with the filtered water.
This can be fixed easily. It is an engineering fault/ poor blueprints manufacturer problem. I do Auto CAD rendering and 3D model engineering of products like this. All it would need is to slim down the inside sleeve about 1/16" and also to increase the thread size and change it to course thread. When you have threaded plastic parts that customers take apart and re-thread #in the case of filter change out#, you must design on the way of operator error. They will not take the time to properly align a plastic fine thread and end up stripping it out. The threads don't have enough thickness on them to start with, and a customer can very easily damage the weak plastic threads. Better to use wider course threads with deep grooves. Other than that, its a great product and I like the style and design, just needs a little more tweaking in the fit and function area. Also the base needs to be wider so it doesn't fall over a lot. #I know this is made for car cup holders, but most modern cars have bigger bottoms to accept bigger cups.# The unit also needs to be able to be placed on its side and NOT leak out the top. Like your favorite coffee thermos.

I have been using Zerowater products for years, and although I am not giving up on this one yet, I would not recommend it to others. As some reviewers have said, it is heavy and bulky, the straw sprays water at you when you flip it open, and it's hard to align and connect the flexible and rigid straw parts. By far, the biggest drawback is that this bottle is not shatterproof. As I was pulling it out of my tote bag, it slipped out of my hand, and the bottom cracked open after falling a distance of less than 12 inches. It was only about half full. Very disappointing. I had purchased two -- my husband refuses to use his because of the reasons stated above -- so I have a spare, but if/when that one breaks, I won't buy another unless there's a redesign.

Great Tasting Water at Work too
We have the ZeroWater 23-Cup system at home and it’s great. Although I live in an area that has a low particle count, you can still taste the difference. When the ZeroWater Bottle came out, I thought it would be great for work. I like the size and it looks pretty cool when completely filled. In the beginning the filtering process was a bit slow, but I stuck with it, and after 3 days, the filtering is really quick. The straw still poses a bit of a problem. Each time I open it there is a small splash, but I’ve been able to work around this flaw. It takes a bit of getting used to, but overall I’m enjoying it. Now I have great tasting water at home and work.

Zerowater 28-Ounce Travel Filter Bottle
I use the zerowater filter system at home and love it. When this water bottle came out I thought I'd give it try. I always carry two or three water bottle of filtered water so I don't run out when on the road. With this new bottle, although a bit bulky, I can fill it from fountains just about any place and still get good water. con: filter doesn't last very long when you drink as much water as I do and the places you get the water is high in particles. But I would still recommend it.
