Crosley Newport Expandable Bar Cabinet
I was impressed by the way it was packed. I always worry about damage. It was easy to put together. It exceeded my wish list for a bar.

This is an awful piece of furniture!
My wife and I ordered this with our gift cards from our wedding. We were really excited about it because it has a nice look, but it's our greatest regret. We read the reviews about how horrible it was to put together, but we weren't swayed. We still wanted this! However, this truly was an awful experience. When we got the initial shipment 9 pieces were broken and we had to wait 2 weeks for replacements. When we got all the pieces and they weren't broken it took us about 4 hours to put this thing together. The cam locks and cam bolts didn't fit into their places well. The right door hinges didn't align properly. When we closed the doors after finally putting this thing together we not only heard the clanking of cam locks falling out of place, but the doors won't close properly and are completely uneven. For $100 we could look past this, but this is $450! For that kind of money we expected a piece of furniture that wasn't an utter piece of garbage. We are in the process of returning it for a full refund. And that has been another nightmare. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this bar. You're better off buying something from IKEA or finding something at a thrift shop. You will regret buying this. We guarantee it.

Wow...amazing quality! Love this item!
I have bought a lot of furniture and I have to say this is one of the best products I have ever purchased. It's Ethan Allen Quality! I still can't believe I got this at this price. You will not be unhappy with this purchase!

Stylish, though could be more functional
We love this bar cabinet - it looks fabulous in our space, we like how compact it is when not in use, and we love how much storage it has. It's a really stylish piece.
Assembly took about 4 hours with two people. It did not come with instructions, so I had to look them up online.
I only have three negative things to say about it with regard to how functional it is, and they're in order of importance:
1) The wine/martini glass hangers (where you slide the glass in upside down by the base) are too narrow for our glasses. Only our white glasses fit in there - our martini , bordeaux, and burgundy glasses have bases that are about 1/4 inch too wide (about 1/8 on either side) to fit through the dividers. Wine glass storage was one of the main reasons we chose this cart, and it's frustrating that they don't fit. And the glasses are too tall to just put them on the shelf under the hangers. So for now we've taken the hangers out, and my husband is going to try to pre-drill the holes himself, and space the hangers out properly. It's frustrating because there is plenty of room on either side for them to have spaced it this way to begin with. If it's too wide, it can still accommodate glasses of all sizes, but too narrow is limiting.
2) The wine bottle holder in the lower lefthand corner of the middle section are not big enough for most of our bottles. Any chardonnay or pinot noir style bottles are too wide (even some of our red bottles are too wide), and many bottles are too long and stick out so the doors won't close.
3) Some of the shelf heights don't accommodate different size liquor bottles. For example, we have all of our cordials on one of the top shelves in the door, but the bottle of Bailey's is about an inch too tall, so we have to find another home for it. Not a big deal, but I wish they would have measured so it fits most bottles.
All in all, it's still a great product and we would recommend it, but we wish they would address the issues in #1 and #2 particularly. Just know before you buy, if you have a reputable brand of red wine glasses, they likely won't fit.

Love this bar!
We absolutely love this bar and receive many compliments every time we have guests at our home. I love how nice it looks & minimal space it takes up when it's closed. I also like how much it holds inside, as well as the extra serving space when it's open. It can be opened just on one side also. The doors open to hold the weight of the top that flips out. You can barely tell that the top is split when it's closed though. My husband did not have any problems putting this together and did so pretty quickly so I guess it just depends how handy you are. There weren't any more pieces than other furniture that is unassembled in flat pack boxes. The only downside that we've found is that the shelves inside the doors are too small to hold most liquor bottles (except short ones like Baileys or some whiskeys). We have a hutch for glasses & wine bottles, so we liked that we could remove the wine bottle separator piece and store larger servicing pieces inside the bar (beverage dispensers etc). I highly recommend this product. The black finish is very nice and coordinated perfectly with our black plantation dining set from another store.

This product came so well packaged.
Fits perfectly in any area and is good value for the money. We did read a review previous about
skipping a step to make is easier to do the next and
going back it was the only review i believe on the BB&B site but no problems there. Would highly reccommend.

Great piece of furniture for the price. Due to weight of pieces and proper assembly, you do need two people to assemble. You have to read directions very carefully, but they are easy to follow. I'll add that when doing the top cam locks in Step 7 for Part A (which are located on Parts D, E, F) if you are using a regular screwdriver, you may want to wait to install the Part Bs from Step 6 till after you are done with Step 7. Figured that out myself, but still a really good product that looks great.

Love My Bar!
My husband and I had been looking for an expandable bar for a while. We found some we liked but didn't want to pay over $1,000 so when I found this one I just had to give it a whirl. I ordered it and was surprised by how quickly it came in. The only downside to this product is that it is sent to you in about 100 pieces. It took my husband and I a little over 2 hours to put it together and I was skeptical the entire time. But it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. We absolutely love it. It looks and works great. I am so glad we purchased the piece and think I will be for years to come.
