So happy it was updated to this version!
The lid is what is terrific with 2 pouring types.
It also lets you cover the pot completely and still let off steam resulting in cooking my pasta much aster.

This saucepan is perfect for lots of things; cooks evenly and cleans easily.

Great in size, quality & features--must HAND WASH
I would definitely recommend this pan. It is an excellent quality pan and the top has two different-sized holes for draining, one small and the other a little larger. The first time I used it to cook spaghetti, it worked perfectly and no spaghetti "escaped" through the smaller holes and I didn't have an extra collander pan to wash. The pour spout is amazing and pours well. The only drawback that I've found is that it has to be hand-washed and cannot be washed in the dishwasher. If it was dishwasher safe I would have given it five stars.
