Love Love LOVE this fondue pot!
I absolutely love this fondue pot. I've been using these for years and they're still perfect. Regulates temperature and makes fondue sooooo easy! The entire inside is still non-stick, and has NEVER chipped on me. I'm guessing that anyone having trouble with it is either gouging the pot with the metal fondue forks that are included in the set (probably want to give the kids cheap wooden skewers just in case) or using an abrasive material to clean it, which isn't necessary. I definitely recommend this product and have purchased it as a gift for several friends and family members.

Fondue Made Easy
This was my first time making fondue so I was a little nervous about taking a chance on this pot but I'm so glad I did! The only downside is that the cord is only about 2 feet long, designed for a kitchen counter top. Luckily my table is close to an electrical outlet and I was able to plug the pot into a power strip long enough to reach the center of my table. It was so easy to use and easy to clean. I made cheese fondue and it was perfect. I can't wait to try chocolate next!

Love this set
We love this set! We bought one and it worked so well we bought another set. It is so easy to clean even with cheese fondue.

Worked great! .... ONCE
I bought this and followed the directions that Mae with it to cook chicken and beef in a coq au vin sauce (broth not oil). I followed heating directions to a t!
It came out deliicious and was soooo happy until I went to clean the fondue pot and notice the nonstick surfaced began disintegrating and chipping away. When that happens to nonstick cookware it an be toxic!
I knew eventually that would happen as with most nonstick cookware but after ONE SINGLE USE? I am beyond disappointed.
I intend on returning this item. If the chipping nonstick surface doesn't bother you than this is a great item.

Hi, I'm Theresa with Cuisinart, and here is our Cuisinart Electric Fondue Set. It's a three quart capacity, thousand watts of power and you can do many things in this pot from melting cheese, as well as chocolate, and also heating up oil and cooking some raw meat, steaks and chicken. It comes with a stainless steel fork ring, eight stainless steel fondue forks, which are color coated, as you can see, so there's no eating off of somebody else's fork. You can use several recipes, as I said earlier: chocolate fondue, cheese fondue, or make meats, I'm actually going to take a piece of bread, stick it in the cheese fondue and see how nice and cheesy and gooey that it. It also has eight settings here, an adjustable control, temperature control and it's a great, great appliance to have if you're entertaining. So there you have it: Cuisinart's electric fondue set. |
