Cuisinart® Pizzelle Iron Press
Cuisinart Pizzelle Maker
I love this machine. I can make approx. +70 pizzelles in an hour. I love to use different flavors....lemon, vanilla, orange and, of course, anise.
Friends just can't get enough of these. They are almost addictive as potato chips.
I would recommend it highly.

I purchased the pizzelle press several years ago at your store. I keep it stored in the original box and use it about twice a year. When I removed it from the box, the plastic latch had sheared off as many other reviewers have indicated. When I wrote to Cuisinart, I was told that it is out of warranty and I could pay to have it shipped back to them. Frankly, it is very cheaply made and I am disappointed that the company continues to sell a product where the plastic latch has been a problem for many years. I have always used the recipe in the booklet that comes with the press and it comes out perfect every time.

I did not like this product at all. The latch doesn't close once you put your dough in. You have to hold the maker closed the whole time it is cooking. I was inconvenienced when I had to drive 25 miles to the store to return it. Was given a store credit instead of gift card back. I do not recommend ordering from this store online.

On my second batch of pizzelles the latch that hold it closed BROKE! How dare you sell this junk for $50.00? I am so upset!

Make your Christmas special!
I have another brand of Pizzelle maker that makes a different design than the Cuisinart. My favorite of the two? The Cuisinart of course. I love the snowflake design. They look so elegant on a plate or tray. For my cookie exchange this year I made 10 1/2 dozen Pizzelles. Everyone was amazed...especially the people who didn't know what they were. They couldn't figure out how I got my cookies "so round"! :o) If you want to make an impression on people at a function where you are bringing some goodies, or entertaining at home, this is the machine to purchase. I used the recipe in the book with the vanilla flavoring. I'm not crazy about anise. I'm going to try other flavors though, such as almond. I love it.
P.S. I love Cuisinart in general I have many of their appliances.

Cuisinart Disappointment - Do Not Buy!
I researched out pizzelle makers and this one seemed to have superior features, including the ability to "tune" the amount of browning of the pizzelles. Well, the features are fine but the workmanship was so bad that I returned the appliance without even using it. Specifically, the slider to adjust the browning was flimsy and loose. As indicated in many Amazon reviews, the latch was flimsy and did look like it would break easily. So, I returned it without even using it --- thank you BBB for your more than fair return policy!
BTW, being a good citizen, I write Cuisinart about this product, so maybe they will make a better quality pizzelle maker in the future --- maybe here in the USA instead of China.

This product makes great cookies. Very easy to make. I used chopsticks to take the cookies from the hot pizzellle maker. The chopsticks doesn't scratch the surface. Again it's real easy and the cookies are delicious!!!!
