High maintenance
These napkins (and matching placemats) look great on the table. Although they are machine washable, I washed the napkins in cold water as recommended and they are a mess. They crumple, wrinkle and generally look like they were chewed up and spit out. I will need to spend a lot of time ironing them before I can use them again. So many napkins, etc. that you buy these days will look great out of washer and air-dry without wrinkles for folding later. I have not washed the matching placemats, but I'll bet they will be a mess too.
