I wanted to like it but I don't
Like others who reviewed this product, I was a Krups steam machine user for 20+ years until finally the Krups broke down (pretty darn good if you ask me). I had far stronger espresso out of the Krups than I have ever gotten wth this machine -- using same coffee -- same grind. it has been a huge disappointment because I thought by buying a pump machine, there would be better quality output. I do get more crema, but very weak espresso. Reading other comments, I am now wondering if I just got a defective machine. Coffee is NEVER strong enough. Probably too late to return it now as I've had it 2 years and am about to just toss it and buy another Krups.

Great Value Great Espresso / Cappuccino
I purchased 2, one for myself and one for a family member. Pros: Cost, Overall Taste, Water Reservoir, Frother, and ease of operation. Cons: No automatic shutoff when preparing your shot of espresso, but this really isn't the hindrance I thought it would be. It comes with 2 filter holders, I use the smaller one for a 3oz. espresso and the larger one for a 6oz. espresso, which I than convert into a cappuccino with 1TBSP of vanilla syrup (from Caribou) and a little frothed milk......less than 2oz.. You should be aware that I had a problem with the pump on one of the machines, the day I took it out of the box, but it was quickly replaced by Bed Bath and Beyond and shipped directly to my house. Both machines have been in use for 2 months, every day, without any issues. During the Holidays I purchased this machine for $60 after 20% discount and $20 rebate. Great value and the taste is comparable, if not better, than commercial or residential machines I've had espresso or cappuccino from.

Loved it at first, but.....
It is good espresso machine, everyone loved the taste of cappuccino, however after less than 3 months, the steamer start leaking water from the top, right in my face. Had to take it back.

Worst customer service ever!!!!!
The machine is great when it works but Delonghi has the worst customer service ever. Our machine broke after 3 months and then told us they would replace once we cut the cord and sent it in. 3 months they still have not sent us a new one and every time we call they have a different story. If you buy a machine just hope it works properly so you dont have to deal with them
