Dr. Brown's® Wide Neck Newborn Feeding Set
Great Bottle Option for gas and colic
We tried the Dr. Brown brand after many recommendations and really like them. Our baby burps easily after use and it has helped with gas. We love the wide-neck bottle and they are pretty simple cleaning considering the parts. No leaks in our experience and we heat up the bottle using the warm water method. The only possible con I can think of it is that the bottles are pretty large which may bother some. We've never used the original so can't use that as a comparison however, did try the Tommee Tippee for anti-colic and did not like those which leaked all the time. We also use the Avent Natural which is a great traditional bottle.

No problems with leaks! BF my baby for 6 months while using these. No nipple confusion. Flow is great. Helped my LO with gas and fussiness also! Definetly recommend!

Leak all the time
I used the regular Dr. Brown bottles with my first son and never had any problems. The wide neck bottles leak every time they are used. These bottles have never been warmed in a warmer and always hand washed. Very disappointed. If you are going to use Dr. Brown use the regular bottles.

The wide neck bottles leak almost every time they are heated in the Dr. Brown bottle warmer. I was told the wide neck bottles don't have the same quality as the regular ones and are produced outside of the U.S. Don't buy these if you plan to use a bottle warmer because they will leak and then you have a big mess to clean up including cleaning the bottle warmer. Haven't had any other problems other than leaking when heated.

I would recommend these bottles. I also used them with my first son 5 years ago. I am not sure how they work for gas, it wasn't really an issue for us. They also do not leak. Maybe if the straw isn't inserted properly. My son was able to switch from breast to bottle without any issues.

These bottles are great. No problems with gas or anything with these bottles and they don't leak. More parts than some bottles but definately worth it.

Dr.Browns wide neck bottles are awesome! My daughter had some feeding issues when she was first born and these bottles solved every problem! We tried Born Free, Playtex Drop In's (yuck!) and Dr. Browns standard bottles. She got so much air from all of them which made her very uncomfortable! These were the 4th bottle type we tried and they were a lifesaver! She loves them and so do we! If you dont want them to leak you must screw cap on very tight! If you do that then no leaks! Would buy these over and over again!

Yes they DO leak!
After reading the reviews on here, 2 out of 3 of them being good reviews, I went out and purchased the wide neck newborn feeding bottles. I had previously been using the Dr. Browns Standard bottles but they seemed to be too much for my newborn to handle, so I decided to try the wide neck bottles and they are just horrible. They leak really bad, and when I put the cap on the bottle it seemed almost impossible to get the cap back off! I was very disappointed because I really liked the Dr. Browns Standard bottles, and I figured these would be the same quality but they're not. I would recommend the Dr. Browns STANDARD bottles, but definitely would not recommend the wide necked bottles, simply because they leak.
