This is a great stone in the perfect color and it is so easy to use and clean. Every kitchen needs one.

First time I used this stone. It broke in three pieces from the heat. Ruined my dinner

Grill a frozen pizza
This black pizza stone makes it much easier to grill a frozen pizza. We'd been using a couple of old racks to elevate the pizza above the heat. Preheat the stone on the grill for a few minutes before placing the pizza on top of the stone. We discovered that we do NOT need to turn the pizza halfway around, so we can leave our gas grill lid shut for the entire 15 min. We experimented to determine how long to cook the pizza we like, so other brands of grills and/or frozen pizzas may take less or more time. You must use a couple of good oven mitts that work for high temps, in order to grab the side handles. Cut the pizza right on the stone, after setting the hot stone on top of a couple of pot holders to protect the kitchen counter. Some melted cheese may stick, so let your stone cool down. Then squirt some dishwashing liquid over the baked on cheese and let it sit a few. Then, use your plastic spatula to "scrape" it off. It's a great product!

pizza stone cracked in half
Cracked in half third time it was used while cooling on the counter. Very disappointing.

Awesome Pizza stone!
I purchased this at BB&B with a 20% off coupon, so the total was $39.99. That is a great deal for a stone of this quality. Love the smooth finish - the fact that you can cut your pizza right on the stone and it also keeps it warm. Clean up was so easy. This is so much better than the stones you can't wash - they look pretty gross after just a few uses. We just made a thin crust pizza on this stone and it came out lovely, evenly browned and beautifully cooked through the middle as well. I will be recommending this to friends. I'm looking forward to trying this on our BBQ! Emile Henry makes high end baking wear and their warranty is great too.

I love how it makes the crust so crisp and cooks evenly. The handles make it easy to serve at the table and it's durable enough to cut the pizza slices without damaging the pan. I also love the non-stick surface, working with gluten-free pizza dough is challenging enough. This pan works great for me!

Love this Pizza Stone!
The stone can be put in the dishwasher, has raised handles for gripping and can be used for other things, like biscuits/cookies. The top has a slick glaze so things slide off easily & stuck-on melted cheese, etc.,come right off. If you like pizza, you can't miss with is one.

Pizza dough sticks to bottom
The instructions say not to use a cooking spray so I have tried spreading oil or butter on pan before spreading the dough. I've tried about 5x and every pizza sticks and is very time consuming to get the pizza off.
On the positive side, it's a nice large pan and works great on the grill and in the oven.
