Our little dog luvs this. I feed her some of her breakfast in this puzzle and in another puzzle. Dogs NEED to WORK NILF (nothing in life is Free training) This makes her work, even a little.
Yes, she figured it out fast, but she luvs it and checks it everyday for her breakfast along with another puzzle toy, sometimes she leaves something in it and checks it later on in the day/evening. It is safe, and easy to use.
Yes, it slides on the floor if you put too much food/treats in the holes.
We have given this as a gift to other smaller dog owners, the owners and dogs have luved it too.

1 gets it 1 doesn't
I bought this for two Chihuahuas’ one of them uses her feet to hold chew sticks, squeaky toys and walking. The other one doesn't play with toys unless there is a treat inside (Cheerios are a favorite). She can work this like a pro and will check every compartment 3 or 4 times to make sure she hasn't missed anything. it will keep her busy for at least 15 to 20 minutes and I find that the puzzle sliding around the floor keeps her busy a little longer.

Fun!
I got this for my sister's Puggle. He loves it! after using a few times it got very easy for him, so I would suggest only using it once in awhile. It was well worth the money watching him....lots of laughs!

keeps him busy
I bought this for our 1 year old English bulldog and he loves it. It keeps him busy for a while. He has scratched it up a bit and it's hard to slide the doors from him doing this but he still has no problem getting the treats. The only flaw is it slides around on the floor for him so I place it on his bed and that seems to help him. I'm going to get some rug gripper and put it on the bottom so it doesn't slide that easily. I will be buying more for my families dogs. The price wasn't too bad with a 20% off coupon.
