Just OK
I'd recommend this product for those that like gadgets. However, there was no instructions or battery info. on the packaging so it took me several minutes to figure out the instructions were stuffed inside the battery compartment. I thought all products requiring batteries needed to say so on outside, but whatever. After several tries to get it to work on a thicker chip bag it did well. I don't know yet if it will work on the new kettle chip bags. If you have patience it's kinda neat.

I have been using this item for over 10 years and have just WORN out my second one and am replacing it. They are great to have and with a little practice you can seal all the different type bags quickly and easily first time, every time. Not all bags are the same thickness so some go a little slower when you seal them, but I WOULDN'T be without one and have given lots as gifts, and always with REAL THANKS after they were used a little.

Waste of money
I bought this product because I thought the concept of it was fantastic! No more chip clips and rubber bands to seal products! well, I bought it the first time and it didnt work at all! So, i thought, ok, maybe I happened to pick up a bad one. I went back for a second one and this one DID work, but I only got to use it 2 or 3 times before it died completely. I thought it was the batteries, so i replaced them, but to no avail! Its a guaranteed waste of money and I will never purchase one again!

I LOVE this little gadget. I have a vacuum sealer for big jobs and this took the place of all my chip clips. Yahhh
