Airia Luxury Dry Quick Dry Tub Mat
Not what I expected
I thought this was going to be one of those soft foam-type bath mats like we presently have. I didn't realize that it had a quilt-like vinyl over the top of the mat. I was happy to discover a mat in the size I needed to fit in front of our shower (30" instead of the standard 32"). However, it was just not what I expected; therefore, I returned this item.

Unfortunately, a mold magnet
After a few weeks of using this shower mat, we noticed something dark underneath the suction cups on the bottom of the mat. We would air the mat after each shower and wash it also. It looks like mold and it's getting worse so I tried bleach and nothing works to get underneath the suction cups. I'm not sure whether it can be returned.... we're very disappointed.

Nice mat but suction cups not good
Maybe it was just mine but many of the suction cups were bent. Absolutely impossible to lay flat in tub. Loved the fabric on top but could not adhere to bottom of tub.

BENT SUCTION CUPS
The fabric and size are good. However, at least 5 or 6 of the suction cups were BENT?
Either they got bent in wrapping but it also seems like the diameter isnt wide enough for them to flatten out. Stepped on them, pushed on them, etc. NO WAY they lay flat.

58 suction cups-Airia Luxury Dry Quick Dry Tub Mat
Works well! With 58 suction cups, it sticks flawlessly to my non-textured tub floor-no slipping at all. Suction-cupped wire shower caddies refused to stick to my slightly-textured tile tub-enclosure walls, so I was happily surprised when this mat stuck to the tile walls. The suctions cups are felt by my feet as small lumps, but it's not uncomfortable, just different. I rinse the matt off with fresh water after my shower, but then I just wave it in the tub to rid it of most of the water so it's not heavy, then press the top third of the mat to the tile wall, and it's totally dry by the next morning. I've been using it for about a week now, so I don't know yet if it will mildew (doubtful since I live in a dry climate). It seems to be well-made and has a substantial feel to it.

Best Tub Mat Ever!!!
Seams like every tub mat I've tried lately will not stay in place. Well no more slipping mats for me! This mat has stayed perfectly in place, and I too am a large woman, so having a mat that doesn't slip when I'm getting in the tub is a huge relief. Even better....this mat is soooo comfy to stand on while showering. I love, love, love this mat and will never have anything else in my bathtub! I'm even thinking of buying a second one, just on the off chance that this one wears out some day (in the very distant future cause it's so well made). If you're looking for a great tub mat, get this one! You will not regret it.

I like this tub mat!
I'm old and fat and getting in and out of my bathtub every morning with my brain on snooze is more and more of a challenge. The Walmart tub mats were too slippery, so I went in search of a better idea and found this one. First, it passed the sniff test - no vinyl for me. Then it passed the label test - no harmful California-banned chemicals. And it passed the number-of-suction-cups test - one on each corner is not enough. This mat has lots of them and they hold the mat securely in place. Along with old and fat, I'm lazy and don't want to bend over to scrub my feet - this mat has enough texture to take care of that. Price was the final issue and by that time, it didn't matter. Besides, I had a 20% off coupon.

Comfy, but no suction
This is a nice, “cushy” bath mat, but, unlike the other reviewer, I found that the suction cups would not work. I even tried standing on them to push them down, but they didn’t stay. This is the most expensive bath mat I’ve ever bought, but it’s the only one that didn’t stay in place in the tub. I returned it, as well as the coordinating Airia bath pillow I also purchased- same problem with the suction cups.
