Nice, but a little heavy
We received this from our wedding registry and use it for large entrees/spreads. It's basically worked as advertised and looks nice. The only problem is that it is pretty heavy, so it's a little cumbersome to move this from the kitchen to the table once it's filled with food. It's not impossible, just much heavier than I was expecting, making it not very useful for regular use. I'd probably get something a little more practical next time.

Beautiful and simple piece
This platter is large and durable and is beautiful in its simplicity. The slight decoration of the curved handles make it easy to carry and is still striking enough to put in the china cabinet on display.
