the FoodSaver
I have been using the Foodsaver for over ten years and I love it. The wife and I have one at home and had one in the RV for when I went fishing.
Yesterday I was cleaning out the freezer and found a package of chicken strips that I had sealed in a FoodSaver one quart bag.
I decided to have it for dinner that night with some stir -fry. It was still the original color and texturet as it was when first sealed.
Everyone says how the bags keep things fresh for up to a year. Well It turns out this bag was 7 days short of being in the freezer for four years.
When I opened it it still smelled fresh and had not spoiled.
So foods do stay fresh a lot longer than a year if properly sealed.
I'm not recommending people keep food that long. But I will not use any other product.

Easy to use
We use for packaging fish in Alaska. Very easy to use and helps avoid freezer burn up to 1 year if packaged properly. Saves a lot of time as opposed to making bags from rolls. Perfect meal size package. I highly reccomend.
