The coasters were not expensive, so I decided to purchase them online. If I had seem them in person in the store, I would not have bought them. Upon taking them out of the their box, I noticed that the cork bottom was flimsy and paper-thin, and not even glued on entirely. Many of the cork bottoms were gluedly on unevenly so portions of the cork were hanging off the edge of the coaster. I'm sure that if they got wet from a drink they'd peel off easily. I liked the design on the terra cotta but I can see these not lasting a long time, so I returned them.
