French Door Lever Handle Lock by Safety 1st®
DOES THE JOB
Was easy to install. My cat learned out to open the latch handle by jumping up and pushing down on it. This lock works great at keeping kitty out of the one room he is not supposed to be in.

Does not look as pictured.
This handle is more clunky looking than pictured. Works OK, better if you put in on upside down. Would recommend if looked better.

INSTALL UPSIDE DOWN!!
This item is a great price and works great... IF YOU INSTALL UPSIDE DOWN! I installed them the "correct" way first and my 16 month old was able to pull so hard they would open! But he hasn't figured out how to open now because he was have to lift up!

Good, but not great
The install directions were not very precise. I don't think it is installed the way the directions describe, but it's installed & works great. My only fear is having the lock in place & my son closing the door with us in the room! Just gotta keep it unlocked when in the room. Honestly, I would by it again & recommend to others, but just take your time with install. It can be tricky!

Easy Opening for a 2 Year Old
My 2 year old boys just put their weight on the handle and it snaps open every time. A complete waste of time and money.

Best for this Type of Handle
If you have to buy a child proofing for this type of handle I think this is the best! It attaches without adhesive (which I used before) and it won't come detached (like the adhesive did before for me).

Just what I wanted
My Great Dane could open all my doors with lever handles and now she cannot. I am delighted.

Got Locked In!
When this child lock is installed, the regular door lock becomes disabled. In order to keep the child out of the room while you are behind the closed door, you need to engage the child lock, which doesn't allow the door to open from inside the room, thereby allowing someone to get locked in.
