Durable, if treated well
Don't know how others are getting broken etc.-- ours have been great. One bowl was broken on arrival from the mail, but that was UPS's fault for dropping the box from the truck to the concrete (saw him do it). We received 2 boxes for our wedding, and have loved them. Wish they stacked a little more closely though (the wave in the bowls makes them a little irritating to get into a small/ apartment sized cabinet). The color is beautiful, and vibrant. We've gotten lots of compliments!

Not durable:(
My husband and I registered for these and got 2 boxes. We have had them a little over a year and a half. Of 8 bowls we have 1 left. Of 8 mugs we have 6 left. Of 8 salad plates we have 6 left. Of 8 large plates, we have 7, 6 of those 7 are chipped. I disagree with it saying they are dishwasher safe, and they probably aren't really microwave safe either. They're so pretty, and I'm so sad they haven't lasted. Most of the bowls and two of the mugs developed cracks that would leak if they held liquid. I can't even find a company website for Baum, the company that makes them, to get them replaced... Not that I'd spend more money on a product that doesn't last:( Don't buy unless you'll handwash them and keep them out of the microwave. They're impractical!

Love this set
I registered for these on my wedding registry. My parents got me two sets. I chose them because I loved the look and that they are different from any one else in the family! My dad dropped them walking down the driveway and they didn't even crack or chip! I have dropped my plates a couple of times and they all look like I just bought them! I love them so much I plan on buying the rest of the set to have a complete serving and dinner set!

I got these off my wedding registry and they look really cool. But at the end of unpacking and cleaning out second box we opened the salad plates and one of them was broke in half. I don't know how that happened since it was packed and wrapped. I hope this isn't a sign of how sturdy they are. We would return them but the nearest bed bath and beyond is about a hour and a half away.
