I read the reviews that gave this product one star and five stars, but decided that there were enough 5 five reviews for me to give it a try.
What a mistake! The product is exactly as described by the one star. reviews. The quality was terrible and broke as soon as I put cloth on it.
Bed, Bath and Beyond, this product should never have been on your shelf!

Great for kids closet
I bought this so that my 4 year olds could reach their clothes independently. The original rod was obviously too high and they would yank their clothes off the hangers, breaking them. This product allowed me to lower the rod for things they would access frequently. Works great!

Broke within hours
This product is not made of commercial grade steel as advertised. The welds are sloppy, the threading is bad, and the metal is light and cheap. Within minutes of hanging cami tops and shirts it broke (threads pulled out and weld cracked). I will be returning this product and do NOT recommend.

Broke within 3 days
I used this product to hang dress shirts and summer skirts. I am a size 0 or 2 so is not like there was lots of material. The lower bar just broke
