The expansive 18" x 49" top boasts a natural cotton cover with a thick fiber pad that allows for smooth ironing. The built-in iron rest holds iron at an angle (ideal for steam irons) and has heat resistant pads. The built-in hanger bar provides a convenient place for freshly pressed pieces. A revolutionary technology creates the Fibertech® top using natural plant fiber waste left over from processing rice, wheat, bamboo, & sugar cane. The fibers are transformed into a biodegradable, fire-retardant, flame-proof ironing board top able to withstand temperatures to 356° F. A standard iron only reaches 204° F. The 4-leg stance provides optimum ironing stability while a metal leg lock holds the legs securely for storage. Measures 36.5" H x 18" W x 49" D; 63" H x 18" W x 3" D (folded). 1-year warranty.

no complaints. like the extra wide surface and ironing board is reasonably stable.

Worst Ironing Board ever
The first board we received had been damaged in transit and we had to re-order. The second was also damaged in transit but we were so 'over it' we tried to just put a piece of cardboard under the leg to stop it rocking. Sadly it has not worked and the board rocks every time we use it. It is very poor quality and I urge people not to waste their money on this product - and it wasn't the cheapest board available!!

Not the prettiest
But it's an ironing board! It's functional and good size. I will however be buying a cover for it as think it could do with a little more padding

Don't do it,
I just received my 3rd damaged board, I returned the first two in hopes of receiving an undamaged one. On all 3, one of the legs was dented inward making the board unsturdy. They are sending someone to pick up the 3rd one and I now ordered the bamboo one. It's not a wide top, but hopefully it won't wobble.
