Apple Pealer with Vacuum Base I bought this device this morning, although the directions are a little hard to understand, I mostly figured it out on my own. I am more than pleased, easy to use perfectly peels, cores, and slices apple in to Apple Rings faster and easier than anything I have ever seem. I will use it everyday. The only assembly required is screwing on the handle. May 4, 2013

Not so great. I bought this apple peeler today and I am very disappointed. I don't know if there is a trick to it or something, but it didn't do much. It cored off center even though I put it in line with the stem, and it barely peeled at all. Just a scrap here and there. The only thing I liked about it was that is sliced very thinly. If it doesn't start working better, I'm returning it. January 20, 2013

Why didn't I think of this?! This kitchen aid saved me from the job of peeling, coring and slicing lots of apples for a new recipe. One thing to note when reading the instructions is that the knob/handle is screwed on "counter clockwise" and NOT the clockwise motion most of us are used to. This was definitely one of my smarter purchases! Enjoy! December 10, 2012

	Hello, my name is Michelle from Bed Bath & Beyond and I'm here to tell you about the Apple Peeler With Vacuum Base. It peels, cores and slices apples in one easy motion and easily attaches to any smooth surface with its vacuum base. It features a stay-sharp stainless steel blade, and the frame is made of lightweight, heavy duty, durable cast aluminum. Watch how easy it is to use: simply press the spring clamp back to release the grooved shaft. Then pull back on the grooved channel to the beginning of the indentations, which is next to the tri-fork. Insert the apple, stem first. Turn the handle to begin movement of the apple towards the peeling, coring and slicing blades. Once the apple has completely moved through all three blades, remove the apple from the tri-form and enjoy! I love making homemade pies for the holidays, and this peeler makes it fast and easy to get the apples ready for baking. It even works on pears and potatoes.
