J.A. Henckels International 18/10 Stainless Steel 6-Piece Steak Knife Set
These knives are not only sharp, but gourgeous.
If your looking for a knife set that can go from casual to formal, these are them. Best part is they are dishwasher safe!!

I love these knives! Who needs expensive cutlery, when you can own these! They cut through steak and fresh tomatoes with ease! I highly recommend this purchase!

I agree with the previous reviewer. I'm not sure about the negative feedback. My set has been through the dishwasher multiple times, and they always come out great. No problems or rust spots. There is enough of the serrated tip to efficiently break the surface of and/or cut most foods, and for all others, the smooth portion near the handle is fine and sharp enough to finish off the slicing/cutting. While they're definitely not high-end knives (I wouldn't even hope to get that for the price), but considering how affordable these are, they are great quality and a fabulous value!

After reading the reviews on these Henckels Stainless Steel steak knives I was not expecting a superior product. Boy was I ever wrong!
These knives have a serrated edge, as well as a smooth edge closer to the handle. They are very sharp, and nothing like a butter knife as another reviewer claimed. The test I use with all my new knives to measure their sharpness is to slice a ripe tomato. These knives sliced through the tomato with ease and required no sawing motion. Also perfect for slicing up steak, the intended purpose!
As for whether to wash them in the dishwasher or not, I prefer to not use the dishwasher, and handwash and hand-dry all my knives. This guarantees my knives never experience any rust spots. They look as good as the day I bought them!
I highly recommend this product. Definitely a good buy.

What you get for $20
These knives are not dishwasher safe. I have put them in the dishwasher once and they already have rust spots on them!

Glorified butter knives
Just got these in the mail today and I have to say I am disappointed. One of the tips of the knives was bent from poor shipping (they shipped together with a big knife block floating in a big box). The knives are actually worse quality than my butter knives and are about the same sharpness. The serrated part is the only (semi)-sharp part (with is only 2 inches of the blade). The other part is made to look sharp but is not at all and totally useless. But I guess for $19.99, you get what you pay for.
