Quiet close lid
Had guests with children. The lid no longer quietly closes. The seat still does but I can't figure out how to access the mechanism to see if I can adjust repair the lid so it will quiet close again. Any thoughts?

Excellent
I have 4 toliets in my house and now I have replaced all of the seats with Kohler Cachet Quiet-Close Quick Release seats. With 3 kids in the house there is no slamming of the toliet seats. Work wonderfully and are comfortable. The whole seat pulls out from hinges for easy cleaning. I did have 1 where within months the lid won't stay on the seat and do not know why so had to replace it. Other than that no issues. Great product.

The size is correct, the quality of the material used, however, is quite plastic rather than the thicker, substantial.model
