Wow-I'm in the Tropics!
This wonderful spread is so much cheaper than plane fare and a condo. The colors (I bought sage green, light blue, and ecru sheet sets + ecru and sage sherpas) are so peaceful; the trees and other figures so . . . so . . . Maybe, I need a pina colada (virgin or otherwise).
I'm not much of a "stripe" person, but the Euro shams are a very nice combo (along w/ all of the other shams and pillows!).
The spread does go to the floor-when bed is made. When I'm in bed, I like the bed ruffle-with the stripes. I do not like seeing the mattress.

Bedspread-Sized King - Use Queen for a Quilt
I used the store finder and luckily my local store had this item. I'm glad I went to see it in person, because I didn't want a bedspread (full coverage to floor) for my king size bed - I wanted a quilt-sized cover (to bottom of mattress +/-). The queen size works perfectly, with an ample "fold over" at the top. Very pricey, but getting the queen instead of the king (and using one of my 20% coupons!) brought the cost to tolerable. It's in the washing machine right now - hoping it launders well! I really like the colors, the tropical summer-y pattern and its light weight, for when a cotton blanket is too little and a comforter is too much.

Found it! Finally!
First, the on-line pic does not do this quilt justice. I actually bought this at the BBB store, not realizing that it was one of the ones I had put in my "maybe" file. I like the contrast between the coordinating items. Even though this is a quilt and not a puffy comforter, I found it to be just as warm as the comforter I had before. I purchased the king for a queen bed and find that I have just the right amount of drop on a sleigh bed that sits fairly high. I detest dust ruffles! So glad I do not have to worry about the clumping of stuffing when I wash this in the future like I did with the comforter. I am using solid, sage green curtains and find that they match the green in the quilt perfectly.

just right!
I purchased this for our Florida home, so it is still in the bag waiting for "cool weather". But it is a beautiful color; will work perfectly in the room I have planned. I'd say it is true to my PC monitor. The weight is light, good for Florida.
I am very happy with BBB!
