Nice little tea kettle
This tea kettle is high quality, as you expect with Le Creuset. It is solid, with an ergonomic handle. I've used it quite a few times already since I received it last month, and am - so far - very happy with my purchase.

I use it far more that I thought I would
I received this from my wedding registry, and I've found it quite useful. Our apartment kitchen is so small that we don't really have room for a microwave. So, I use it all the time to heat water for tea, blach vegetables in a mesh strainer, and any other time I need hot water . I use it to boil water for smaller meals, so I can do other things and not have to watch a pot of water. I knew the whistle would come in handy! I've never had a problem with rust and have had it for over a year now.
I use it so much now that I leave it pre-filled on the stove, but when I left it empty before, I did so after it was heated to the whistling point. I took the lid off, opened up the spout, and the heat helped it to dry pretty quickly. This may help with the rusting problem.

Rust
I have owned this for about a year and a half and rarely use it. There is now rust inside the kettle. An email to Le Creuset went unanswered.
