All bundled in blue, so precious and warm.
I said a prayer for a dream come true,
Blessed to be given a grandson like you.
To hold a baby from my own,
A greater joy I've never known.

This time my role a gentler part.
Little Grandson, I promise you time,
To give you all the gifts that are mine.
To savor your mischief and join your fun,
To shoot for the stars and bask in the sun.
To walk hand in hand at your pace,
