Disaster waiting to happen!
The first time (and only time) I used my beautiful stacked cake plates was at a baby shower I threw. I had chocolate covered strawberries stacked on all three tiers. About half way through the shower, the glue holding the plate to the pedestal on the bottom tier lost its “stick” and the entire stand plummeted over. The top tiers fell on top of the other food on the table, ruining it, and the plate of the bottom tier fell to the ground and shattered. Talk about a disaster! Do NOT buy this product, save your money for something sturdier.

do not buy this!
this looks pretty but is very poorly put together! the tiers are not one piece, the pedestal is glued to the plate and the pedestals on all three tiers were glued off center! the largest plate by 1/2 inch! if that was not enough the glue was thickly layered on one side of the largest plate where the pedestal was attached and it sits lopsided!! not what i expected from bed bath and beyond!! so, when stacked the whole thing is lopsided!!! I will return this thing and shop elsewhere!! beware!!! pretty doesn't always mean quality!! very disappointed!!
