Medela® Freestyle® Double Electric Hands-Free Breastpump
We bought the top of the line Medela pump because of the reviews we've read online. At first, the pump was fine. After 3weeks of using it, the pump seemed like it decreased in suction power, and one side had barely any suction. From the get-go my milk supply had been low to where we had to supplement with formula. I was devastated. I was told to keep pumping and eventually my supply should get to where it needs to be. Now my baby is 5weeks and my supply has not improved and the pump is getting weaker even at the highest suction level. I'm going to contact customer service and see if maybe I had a faulty product and get it replaced. Time is crucial! I don't have time to mess with this. In the meantime I will just have to put my full faith in my baby.

Great Product Worth Every Penny!
I actually bought this pump 3 years ago when I had my first child, it worked exceptionally well and I never had any issues. When I was finished with it, I cleaned it, took out the battery and packed it up only to one day take it out again. About four months ago right before giving birth to our second child, I got the pump back out, put the battery in gave it a charge and it started right up. I have been using it for the last few months and everything is working just as it was when I got it. I will say this product lasts and Madela is a great brand! Highly recommended!

This is worth every penny! Breast feeding was really hard on me physically and having this pump gives your chest a much needed break. It is gentle but super efficient. The storage systems are awesome also.

zero star rating if possible
After a 10 day hospital stay, the one thing my baby had going for her was my great milk supply. After using the hospital's Symphony Medela Pump, I knew I was very capable of producing a large amount of milk (8+ oz a pumping session). When we got home and started using the Free Style, I thought it was broken. On the highest setting, it barely felt like anything and I didn't even produce an ounce of milk. At best I would use it as a single pump which would slightly increase the suction, but still hardly any milk. My husband returned it and the new one was just as bad. Now my supply has significantly been affected which is affecting my baby's ability to get fed. I could not be more upset. Going to rent a symphony from the hospital and not sure what we will do in the long run. So disappointed and frustrated. When it means my baby's health, I don't have time to mess around with faulty products. My lactation friend said that the reason for this is now that insurance covers pumps, medela has started cutting corners and using cheaper parts (converting their small single pump motor into a double pump with Y tubing=less suction) in order to save money. So horrible. Don't buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my Medela Freestyle Pump!
Get this one! It is awesome! I would recommend either a Milkalicious tank or Dairy Fairy bra to use with it to maximize pumping while multitasking. The Medela strapless bra is less helpful. The pump works well and is very portable and compact. The only downside is that my pump lost suction after 3 years (8 months after my second child), and I had to get a new one, but it is worth the money. Until this point, it worked better than my hospital grade pump which I rented briefly.

This is a great pump, especially for an active mother or one who will return to work. I agree with all other positive reviewers so I won't repeat it all here, but I definitely recommend this pump.

Definitely Worth the Extra $
I absolutely Love my Medela Freestyle! I couldn't be happier with it. I have used it since the day we got home from the hospital and have never had any issues. It is really easy to clean, and works as well as the one I used at the hospital. I am a full time working mommy now and I have still been able to exclusively breastfeed my son because I am able to pump so easily at work! I have the Medela hands free bra as well and it allows me to keep working while I pump. I also have been able to do numerous things at home while pumping. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a compact/ easily portable version of an excellent pump!

The best breast pump ever. Yes, it is a little bit pricey but worth it. I also recommend using the medela nursing bra, for more comfort.
