Perfect spoon rest
I use this multiple times a day, and it is perfect. Looks lovely on the counter, and works very well for holding wooden spoons/serving spoon. Great in the dishwasher or handwash.

Big disappointment
This piece broke after about a week of use and is one of many pieces in my collection to break. This line has been a huge disappointment to me especially since I've only had it for a few months. Wish I'd registered for something else!

It works but prefer original design
I own the original Italian Countryside set which I think is elegant and understated. I would prefer Mikasa continue with original design. The embalished floral pattern takes away from the beauty of original design.
The cost was perfect as I think I paid double for a Le Creuset spoon rest.

Pretty
This spoon rest makes a nice addition to the italian countryside collection. It is of nice quality and has the added flair of embossing where the spoon rests instead of just around the outside like the dishes do.
