Dishes very nice but thicker and heavier than expected.
The dishes are beautiful and nicely designed, particularly the cereal/soup bowl. But I was surprised at how thick and heavy the dishes were for porcelain, especially in contrast to the Mikasa Studio Nova dishes these were replacing. I had looked at what I thought were comparable Mikasa plates in stores (although did not see this design) and they were thinner/lighter like the dished I already owned.
They also get unexpectedly hot in the microwave.

We're anxiously waiting for a larger service to be developed so we can get a creamer/sugar bowl, and maybe some serving dishes.
