This shower curtain rod my look nice BUT, it does not stay up after installation the"fastlock" technology is worthless! you'd think that Moen would make a better quality product. It fell at least 10 times in the past month.RIDICULOUS!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE

Not Recommended for Shower Curtain Use
I bought this tension rod, along with a shower curtain, to hide the furnace and water heater in my laundry/utility room. The rod and curtain fell simply down 2 minutes after installation, due to poor tension. I reinstalled it, but this time I twisted it (for tension adjustment) in the opposite direction than what was indicated on the sticker (affixed to rod). It seems to be holding better this time. Since this curtain will rarely be opened, it should not put much stress on the tension rod. But if I was using it in the bath for a shower curtain, I would not be confident this rod would hold up to the stress of frequent use.

Poor quality
This rod lost its tension almost immediately and kept falling off the wall. The mechanism inside the bar seems very cheap and poor quality. Keep your reciept on this item as you will be returning.

Love them!
I bought 3 of these for my new home and they match up very well with the fixtures in our bathrooms. I love them!! They make a shower curtain look great too. I'd recommend these 100%!
