I purchased this flatware several months ago. I have washed them in the dishwasher with no problems whatsoever. These are heavy, rugged and have not lost the integrity of their design in any way. I would recommend them and would purchase them again.

RUST!!!
Do NOT buy. Purchased on 04.06.12 and a little over a month later 05.19.12 they began to rust. Mostly were hand washed with 1-2 cycles in the dishwasher. They are supposed to be "dishwasher safe" as well. Definitely was drawn to the look but not worth the disappointment when you notice rust all over your $80 flatware. I am bringing back tomorrow and hopefully they will exchange!

I love this flatware!
I was looking for something that at least seemed handcrafted. This design is great and the weight is wonderful. I also like how long the teaspoon is...no need to buy longer spoons for ice tea.

Worth the money
My son picked these out for his first apartment to go with his red dishes. When they came I was afraid they would be thin and weak. They are very heavy and nice looking.
