Nordic Ware® Swedish Rosette and Timbale Set
Dangerous and poor design
What a dangerous product due to it's poor design! The handle constantly falls off into the hot grease which splashes up and burns the hands!! Not to mention getting grease all over the stove and counter. I am completely upset, unhappy and frustrated after using this iron. It is horrible. I just emailed the company to tell them how upset I am and to change the design. This one is already in the garbage and I just ordered one from another company that resembles the one my Mom had when I was a child. Which by the way, lasted at least 40 years and is less expensive than this horrible one!!!!!

Poor Design = Dangerous to Use
This rosette and timbale set from NordicWare features a new design that allows the user to change molds quickly and easily. The way the molds are attached to the rod is the biggest problem. The rod has to prongs that are spaced slightly apart. To attach the mold, the prongs are pinched together, in the "Release" position on the knobby thing, and placed in a small rectangular whole. You then set it to "Lock" which forces the prongs apart again. This pressure was designed to keep the mold in place. BUT IT DOESN'T! The mold does not stay secure to the rod, and FALLS OFF EASILY! This proved to be especially dangerous when I was trying to let the excess oil drip from the mold over the pot when IT POPPED OFF AND FELL INTO THE 350 DEGREE OIL, SPLASHING IT EVERYWHERE INCLUDING MY HANDS! Find a rosette and timbale set that uses a rod and molds with screw threads. This product is so unsafe! STAY AWAY!

I haven't used it yet but sure looks good, maybe even better than my old sets . I had given older sets away , didnt think my kids or sister-in-law would request these cookies, well I get to make some for Thanksgiving and again for Christmas. I would recommend this set to others.
