Sturdy ...and they match everything else
I needed a butter dish, and I Love the "Sango- Nova Black" collection, which is why i bought this set., good price and it all arrived in tact.

Good Addition to the Set
I own Nova Black plates/cups/bowls/salad plates as well as the pitcher (which I bought elsewhere) and the platter/large bowl set. I bought this hostess set to finish the collection.
I am happy with the purchase with the exception of two small details. First, the holes on the salt and pepper shakers to me seem a little big, so that if i weren't careful, i could end up over-pouring seasoning all over my food. Additionally, the lid to the butter dish feels like it sort of "grinds" on the base of the butter dish, which seems a little odd, although this could have been intentional to make it feel rustic.
Overall, I am glad i bought these and have completed my collection. I would recommend it for this purpose primarily.
