Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet® Hot Air Popper by Presto®
Treat yourself to a low-fat, low-calorie snack with the Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet® Hot Air Popper. This great popcorn maker uses hot air and not oil, making it a healthier and more economical choice than microwave bag popcorn. It pops both regular and gourmet popcorn in a flash - 18 cups can be popped in less than 2 1/2 minutes! And it leaves virtually no kernel unpopped. Simply place the bowl under the chute and pop away. The removable butter melter also doubles as a measuring cup and since no oil is involved in the process, clean up is a cinch. Just wipe the unit clean and you're done. 1,440-watts. UL-listed. Two-year limited warranty. Model # 04821.

Hot Air Popper
Keep the measuring cup in place when popping.
Pops great. I hold the unit slightly tipped back, so the kernels don't come out early as I start the unit. When the popping starts I let it sit level on the counter.

It does the job
The only bad feature I've found so far is that the air flow is so strong that small white popcorn is blown out of the popping chamber. I've resolved this by placing a perforated spatula over the popping chamber until enough kernels of the corn are popped, which will then keep the others from being blown out. I'm sure it will work better with larger corn. Overall, I would recommend it.

Needs an on/off switch
After filling the reservoir, loading cap, and that lame butter melter (just melt in the microwave in your own little cup, one plugs in this hot hair dryer amid a brief electrical light show from the socket. Make sure you have a paper sack covering the vents because the popcorn and kernels shoot out all over the place. When most of the kernels and popped spew out, unplug without turning off for another electrical light show.
FRIGGIN' FIRE HAZARD without the on/off switch most appliances require.

Great popper
As with the previous Presto popper that lasted over ten years, this one but pops very well. It pops all varieties of corn, leaving the very few unpopped tooth breakers behind in the popper,
Use a large bowl in front of the popper, because it does an excellent job fully popping the corn to large pieces.
Metal is best for the bowl, because it will heat up, and cheaper plastics might warp or melt.
