Didn't work for me
I can't even cut through the whole apple. I pushed really hard and only made it halfway through. It was easier to just use a knife.

Not their best product
I have many of the Oxo products, and generally find them better quality and easier to handle than comparable products. This product has two areas of concern:
1. The cutting blades are VERY sharp - you have to be very careful getting the apple slices out from between the blades after cutting. The sharpness of the blades sometimes makes it difficult to clean well.
2. As another reviewer said, it broke. Where the blade is molded into the side of the cutter, it split.
The cost is not that high to get another one, but I may look at another product since I have to replace this one.

Great product!
Seeing the previous review, I had to create an account to write a review for this product. I received this as a wedding gift over three years ago, use it on a daily basis, and have had no problem whatsoever with it! I love it!! It is so handy and helpful. My mother-in-law even commented on it when she saw me use it, and said she was jealous- so here I am buying her the exact one for mother's day! I would definitely recommend!

Broke
The plastic broke on the third apple I used it on. It's not like I buy a harder apple than anybody else. Enough said.
