I thought it was my just my imagination, but these measuring spoons are occassionally smitten by static electricity. It is very frustrating to have part of a dry measurement refusing to leave the spoon. The metal Oxo measuring spoons never do this & I've never had it happen before with any other brand. I'll still use these & recommend, but will have to think twice before buying another plastic Oxo product for use with dry ingredients.

Nicely made with extra measures included
Purchased in the store & I really like the oval bowl design, extra measurements included in the set, and the good grip handles. The narrower, oval spoon usually fits into spice containers more easily than some of my round-bowled measuring spoons, so that's a plus. They are also reasonably priced. I expect this set to last a long time.

Love em!
I have a couple of sets of measuring spoons, but these are the best -- they have more measurements than most, which is great. I have used mine plenty in the last 10 months, and the colored markings show no signs of wearing off. They're also slightly raised, so I imagine you could still use them after they do eventually wear off. Perhaps the negative reviewers got an older version?

these are great! we haven't had any issues with the numbers coming off. it's also so nice that there are 6- so you have every measurement you can possibly need!
