Polder® Brushed Stainless Steel Window Canisters (Set of 3)
Good Looking--Hard to Open
The good things about these canisters are that they are made well, look good and seal tightly.
The down side is that they are a little stiff and hard to open esp. when my hands are a little slippery from working in the kitchen. A handle of some sort on top would give me a little more leverage.

Eh, I've seen better
I should have listened to the reviews that warned against these. They look nice on my kitchen counter, but are horrible at keeping my ingredients fresh. The next day after opening them from the box, washing them and then filling them with flour, sugar and brown sugar, the cane sugar was hard and stuck together. The brown sugar was fine because I had put that little clay disk thing that keeps it fresh in there. I should have went with my gut feeling and shopped around for better canisters.

Perfect for baking ingredients
In case you were wondering and don't feel like doing the math, YES these canisters are the perfect size to hold typical-sized bags of flour, sugar, and powdered sugar. I do wish they came in a set of four, or individually, so I could buy an extra small one for brown sugar as well.
I love these canisters. They are sleek and modern, and if I had the counter space, I would have them out on display! It seems a shame to hide them in a cabinet. But they fit nicely on a shelf and take up far less space than my old bulky Rubbermaid containers.
I can see how people may have issues with denting, because this isn't the sturdiest material. If you were to grab the canister the wrong way, you could probably put your thumb right through the window, because it is a cheap and bendable plastic. Just adjust your expectations accordingly. If you buy them in perfect condition and you aren't rough on your things, it isn't hard to keep them perfect. But if you need uber sturdy canisters that will sustain heavy use and abuse (dropping, bumping, careless grabbing and lifting), these probably aren't for you.

wish I could have seen in store first....
these are very thin...the windows are made of hard plastic and the trim around the windows is flimsy and tarnished...the seals work well on one but not on the others...the tops pop off slightly when trying to close tightly...if you buy these try cleaning with stainless steel wipes that you can buy at Target

See Through Polished Silver Canister Set
I love the fact that I can see things through the canister's window. The top is a little difficult to open, and that is why I did not give it a 5, but I really do like the way they look.

Very Classy Looking
I really like these canisters. I think they are a great compromise between all-steel and all-plastic. The containers have great lines and the window allows the contents to be seen so you can easily find what you are looking for. I’m using in a pantry holding dry goods, so I don’t anticipate them getting wet (I noted someone else had rust stains at the bottom; I’m guessing they had them out near the sink where they’d get wet). The seals don’t seem extremely tight, but they make a decent seal and are easy on and easy off. If you’re not storing food goods for years, I think they will do fine to keep the contents fresh (I’m storing rice, nuts, and pasta). The windows and the containers are thin, but they are also light, so you have to decide what you are looking for.

Nice looking canisters
I have no problem with these canisters. I bought them to store my puppy's treats in them, the large one for bones, medium for dry treats like Milkbones, and the smallest for moist treats like Beggin Strips, etc. The moist treats stay moist, and the Milkbones are still crunchy. They work just fine for me, and ive had no issues with rusting or scratches. I DID however buy mine in-store. Maybe that's the ticket

I also received this as a wedding gift...looks great in the store in the box, but in reality the metal is SO thin, and was already scratched up when we got them. Just not good quality at all, guess we should've checked them out before adding to our registry. Yay for GIFT RECIEPTS!
