Conair® Pollenex™ Solid Teak Shower Mat
I love the quality , the teak is beautiful. Shipping was speedy, too! I wouldn't call it a mat because it's about an inch and a half off the ground. Other than that it's perfect.

Peeled after one week
I use this as my bathmat outside my tub. After stepping on it only a few times, it begun peeling, and is now rather unsightly. I'm very disappointed in its quality. Isn't teak supposed to last for years and years?

Not like the Picture, but Like it anyway
The picture makes this item look more square when it is more rectangular. There is also ridging on the wood that is hard to see, but is more prominant in reality. It will suit my purpose, but not what I expected.

OUR SECOND TEAK SHOWER MAT
This is the second teak shower mat we've purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond. We had the first one for five years and finally decided it needed to be replaced. We both love the feel of this mat in the shower. It's easy to clean and stays nice for years.

Perfect for outside the shower/tub
We bought this 2 years ago after redoing our master bath. It gets used daily and has held up extremely well. The finish is still looking good- no peeling or anything. I've been thinking of re-oiling, it as the instructions mentioned it may need periodically, to keep it from eventually graying. But it only looks a little like it may need it in the grooves.
We have had no problems with either it slipping on our tile floor or us slipping on it in our wet feet.
It looks classy and is looking like it will last us for years to come.
I was actually looking it up again to buy another for my boys' bathroom.
If you want a non slip mat for IN your shower or tub, you should probably get a clear rubber mat. Or be prepared to replace the wood mat every year, if that look is important to you.
This is a great product!

Works great, outside of shower.
Not sure why you would even want to put a big ribbed wood rack in the shower... If you're looking for shower grip I'd think something low-profile, synthetic, and attached with adhesive would be the way to go.
But, if you're looking to get rid of a carpeted shower matt this is 5 star all the way. Think about it for a second... a big piece of carpet next to a bath/shower. How does that make any sense. I don't care how quickly polyester carpet dries, it's not fast enough allowing all sorts of mold bacteria, fungi, and yeast to grow. And it collects dust and urine spatter. Yeah, no thanks I'll pass on the luxurious shower carpet... And how exactly do you wash a shower rug. Talk about imbalanced load if you try to wash that skanky, shower mop.
Do yourself a favor forget carpet in the bathroom. It make no sense on any level, especially the one that wraps around your toilet! Gross...
If you are looking to submerge an elevated piece of wood in your shower and expect it to benefit you somehow than I don't know what to tell you because I certainly don't get it.
If your looking for something to stand on with grip getting out of the shower, that isn't ice cold, dries, quickly, won't slip, or become a petri dish, and looks aesthetic, then this is your matt.

Don't even tink about it!
I was remodeling my bathroom, therefore I wanted something spa like decor. This teak mat is beautiful that's all. It does not do the work, whether you have a shower or a tub it does not work." IT SLIPS" don't even think about putting this mat in a tub unless you want to break your neck. I honestly think this product should be discontinue. Unfortunately I didn't return mine, and trust me I regret it every time I see the mat.

Teak Shower Mat
I love the wood, I love the feel, but it slips in the shower when you step on it with the first foot that touches it.
Not recommended. May take mine back or give it to a friend with an outdoor shower...does not go well on tile which is why I got it in the first place...slippery tile.
